I don't know if the general public really understands leather work like this.It's quality,hand made,ages real nice and will last forever,and it always works for it's intended use..There's a few folks that are gonna get some nice gifts from this place this year.

Thanks for sharing your ideas WC. I know I appreciate it and I'm sure many others do to. In this age of mass production and cheap imports, I'm not sure how many people really understand, as Rick said, how valuable these sorts of gifts are. Even if a skilled craftsman like WC can slam one out in record time, what about the time and effort it took him to develop such skills?

I know there are craftsmen doing fine work in many areas besides leather, but bless God, THIS is the Leather Forum, and I'm darn proud to know some of these guys, if only through the 'Net. I am honored to let them know how much I appreciate their work, even if I never own a piece from Chuck B or Will G. or any other number of guys who do excellent work and display it here.
