Longer Shotgun Barrels

I'm posting this here 'cause I shoot (almost exclusively) BP shells from my Tula shotgun in NCOWS competition, and hopefully at some GAF functions.

My Tula is one of the older TOZ66s, made (at least) before 1989.  (It says "made in USSR" and since the USSR dissolved in the 1989-90 timeframe ... )

Anyway, does anyone know if I can get a set of longer barrels for it?  It's a 12 ga.  I know that Tula makes a 16 ga with full size barrels - my pard, Jed Cooper has one.  I'm looking for 26" to 28" barrels, if possible.  Mine is the Coachgun version (which is obvious from the picture  ;) ) and has an 18" set with Mod. choke on the right barrel and IC on the left.  Believe it or not, the chokes actually work some.  To a point. A bit.  It's a great gun - in spite of the fact the Commies made it, and I don't want to get rid of it.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

PS - I'm posting this in several forums for maximum exposure.  Thanks for your patience.

Greetings Monsieur Bailey -
Good to see you back, I hope you are doing well!

These Tula Russian shotguns have always had the reputation for being robust and virtually indestructable - however finding parts and different barrels has been problematic.

The difficulty with these small howitzers is that the Tula works is at the end of the world and seems essentially interested in only exporting complete firearms rather than parts.

here is some info I gleaned "off the interweb"  from folks in similar situations:

The TOZ-66 is a product of
Izhesky Mekhanichesky Zavod(BAIKAL)
3 Derjabin Pr.
Izhevsk,RUS-426006
Udmurt Republic, Russia.

www.baikalinc.com
from the web site you should be able to get a North American distributor and possible parts source..
Besides EEA Corp you might check with www.marstar.ca

"There was a long standing import agreement between Baikal and European American Armory on the import and sale of Baikal brand firearms and parts and EAA has an excellent reputation for service..However.in the last few years Remington has struck a deal with Baikal and has added their brand stamp to several of the exports. Remington call this line "INTERNATIONAL" and the baikal moodels bear the SPR-xxxx model designation. Among these are a couple of SxS "COWBOY" Shotguns designates the SPR-200. A trip to www.remington.com and an examination of the biography of the SPR-200 may show a definate relationship to your TOZ-66...maybe eonoigh of one that some parts will service the TOZ-66..it is worth the time to check it out!"

Thanks for the information, Professor!

Some of it I knew; much I didn't.
