Two Flints

Hi Klw,

What would be the advantages of ordering the Spencer rifle over the carbine?  There must be a cost difference, with the rifle being a bit higher in price.

The difference between the rifle and carbine is a bit hard to explain.  I had two carbines, an original and a Taylor.  The rifle I had was a Romano.

The feel of the rifle was entirely different.  The carbine is certainly a handy little gun but the rifle isn't.  Still, even if I can not explain it, I certainly liked the rifle better.  Owners of original rifles that I have known also thought that they were more accurate.

Hell-Er High Water

Has it been determined it the rifle is in military or sporter configuration?  Also what caliber(s) and barrel length.  I went to both the Taylor's and Cimarron web sites and there is no info on either site that I could find on the rifle.
