With imprint of A.R. Moore, on gray card stock, includes chromolithographed post card of the same image, showing line of mounted cavalry atop a giant redwood log with second row in front of same log, 7.25" x 9.25", stock is 9.75" x 11.75".

FWIW,

The local PBS had a show about this troop. They were turn of the century Buffalo Soldiers.

The unsual thing is that they also had a black officer and some top NCOs.

They forged many of the roads in Yosemite and created much of what the park is today.
