Most camcorders for HD have HDD's and also can use HDSC cards. HDD's of 30gig give you 240 minutes in high def mode. The prices and aray of camcorders are bewildering to me though. I got a JVC everio for my wife recently because it tad the features I mentioned. It's at the low end of the price curve though. I suggest you check out CNET's reviews. Good luck.
All America lies at the end of the wilderness road, and our past is not a dead past, but still lives in us. Our forefathers had civilization inside themselves, the wild outside. We live in the civilization they created, but within us the wilderness still lingers. What they dreamed, we live, and what they lived, we dream. -- T.K. Whipple
