Was wondering what activities the Texas Rangers might have been involved in between the years 1869-1875?
A work in progress.

There is another pretty good Texas Ranger Museum in San Antonio on Broadway.  Half of the building is a kids museum the other half is devoted to the Rangers.

Instead of asking - try reading:

'The Men Who Wear the Star' - by Charles M. Robinson III

'The Texas Rangers' - Walter Prescott Webb

Will give you a start, and you'll have material to refer to.

Try "Lone Star Justice," by Robert Utley. The book is available on Amazon Dot Com.

I thought it was a really great book...
