Was wondering what activities the Texas Rangers might have been involved in between the years 1869-1875?

The Ranger Museum and Hall Of Fame in Waco is a "must see" if you are ever in the area around Waco.

There is another pretty good Texas Ranger Museum in San Antonio on Broadway.  Half of the building is a kids museum the other half is devoted to the Rangers.

There was a Ranger Museum near the San Antonio Zoo at one time.

Try "Lone Star Justice," by Robert Utley. The book is available on Amazon Dot Com.

I thought it was a really great book...
