Oct. 31 will be the Green River Rangers Company B final shoot. The West Side club in Evansville, IN is forming a NCOWS posse to hold the 2010 National shoot. They will be shooting the fifth Saturdays. We will not hold any more fifth Saturday shoots at Green River, we will throw our help and support to the new posse at West Side.

This Saturday will be our final shoot, sign up at 9Am and shoot at 10Am. We will have a meal for the shooters and also a big bore and pistol cal. rifle shoot after the main match. Do hope you all can make it. For directions go to the SASS web site and look up KY clubs and the Green River Gunslingers. WE are just outside of Bowling Green,KY. Texas Jack  Tj

Pancho, Thanks for the stages. I will save them. Have already written the stages for this match and set the stands for the targets. Hope to see you in a few weeks when I'll be GONE TO TEXAS. Tj

Well folks the RAIN is sure here. The NCOWS shoot for this Saturday is called off. We will try for next Saturday, the first Saturday in Nov. Yak is checking to see if we will have the range. Chilli and fixings will be on hold for then. No it's not made yet and will be fresh when we have the shoot. Long range weather looks good for next Saturday, just cooler. Hope several of you can make it. Tj

Dutch, the weather should be moved out by tommorow evening. MY grand kids are sure looking for all that candy. Tj

Tj, thanks again for a match that could not have been better!  Great stages--well thought out and challenging.  Really good food (Annie's still talking about the chili)!  Best group of cowboys you could ever ride the river with.  And the weather was perfect.  It just don't get any better than that!!!  ;D ;D ;D

J.D. was sure good to have you and Annie come shoot with us. Come back any time. THANK YOU to all that came and shot today, it was a good time. Sure missed the IN cowboys understand there was a big gun show at Booneville, then several had to work. Sure wish you all had ate more sandwiches though. When I got home, my wife Diane said we would have them tonight. Liberty Dan told me I could eat them on the way to the Texas shoot. What a day!! And what great weather and what a great bunch of cowboys and cowgirls. Tj  Texas Jack
