Just received a very nice Uberti 1861 Navy revolver. Beautiful piece. Date code places it from 1976 production, Navy Arms import. My Remington #10 caps seem a bit loose on the nipples. I've ordered a set of Tresos today, but they may not arrive in time for the Texas NCOWS Regional next week. Any suggestions as to other caps to try. I have some old Navy Arms caps from around 1990 (RWS I believe) and they seem loose as well.  ???

CCI caps are a bit smaller than Remingtons, size for size, you might try them.

Your RWS  green label or red label ?

The Green are slightly longer and seem to fit snugger than Red
I find the green work better on my 1860 while my 51 prefers Red
Both Guns are Colt 2nd Gen. from circa 1977-8

Preacher, I'll second the recommendation for CCI #10s. Its the cap that fits ALL my Uberti Colts.
My Piettas take #11 CCI, except for those revolvers I've customized to use the #10s.
