Does anyone by chance have a legible copy of the makers labels with cleaning and loading instructions printed on them that were used in original Colt cased sets or a copy of the 1 page flier with the same instructions?

If so I'd like to get a copy.........

The only one I have seen was for percussion revolvers and was an old broadsheet pictured in a book. I cannot find one on the Internet.

That's the one for percussion revolvers, but I can't remember what book?

I know Bill Shumate of "Bills custom cases" uses the original labels in his custom cases.  I would contact him to see if he would be willing to part with a copy.

Chuck, I have A Directions Sheet out of one of my Colt Cavalry sets. It is a folded sheet of paper creating a 4 page instruction, labeled Colt Cap and Ball Revolvers .It has directions on shooting, loading, and cleaning. Is that what you need? If so I can get a copy to you.    Jed
