Has anyone used the new Diamondback powder? The price on powderinc appeals to my cheap nature, but you have to buy it in 25lb lots. Would hate to have 25lbs of powder I don't like  :o

An internet search showed some people thinking its made in the old Elephant brand plant (made in Brazil) and they hated Elephant. The Powderinc site says it's made in PA and Canada...

Am hoping someone has used it and likes it - can't beat $10./lb (includes hazmat and shipping) - I could figger' out some way to store that much at that price  :D

Thankee for any re-sponses...

Find someone to split the order with you. That's what I do most of the time.

Haven't tried it , but then I shoot alot of Elephant & think it seems fine.  Just a thought, use it for shotgun.  It takes the most powder & for that, how bad could it be.  Springfield Slim has a good idea.  The more the merrier right?

I have used it.  it's dirty just like the old elephant powder. It's good enough for cowboy shooting. I use it in shotgun rifle and C&B pistols. As long as you have good lube you'll have no problems.
