Is the bore size on the 38 special Uberti Mason's .346?

I called the Taylor company to ask about the bore size of these guns figuring it's either going to be .375 (like the cap and ball barrels) or 357 (like modern 38 bullets). He said it was .346 though.

My question, does this sound correct and am I restricted in what I shoot out of the gun (as far as factory ammo - pure lead vs copper plated)?

I think the question you asked was answered.  The "bore" diameter will be about that.

If you asked for the "groove" diameter you would have been told .358 (or there-abouts)  I have a pair of Uberti Richard Masons and they accept the normal .38 Special ammo.

Ah, that makes sense

Clearly I'm not up on the technical side of things

Thanks
