My Daughter is 21, and believe it or not the Beatles are her favorite group, this started with her about four years ago, which just goes to show you this music is ageless, I was the same age when they were my all time favorite. Good post Rick 8)

it's funny how young peoples taste change in music, her music was totally the apposite before the Beatles, she play guitar and makes some good sounds, I hope she stays with it, she has a lot of talent.

A family friend is a college professor.  She says the kids - ah, young adults - she works with all seem to love the music that folks like me grew up on (late 50's thru the early 80's). They call it "geezer rock", and many of them prefer it over the current Top 40.

That's cool she plays guitar 10w,what brand does she play?I play a Martin Dm if she has neve played one tell her to check one out, really great sound.I only know basic country chords, but i fake it pretty good.

Todays music just doesn't have the heart like it used too Nighteyes. When i was growing up everybody liked Hendrix,Joplin and such.I couldn't stand it,i was Elvis Beatles, beach boys any doo wop,it's just fun music you had to write good words that really had meaning.I always have liked Kristofferson, great writer of songs,i play alot of his stuff.I met him and willy in Fresno, and met Willy again in 99.Then Merle,Lorretta,Bonnie owens,Buck..I even have a 1940 wurlitzer that plays 78s i restored,Sinatra,Roy Rogers,Gene Autry,Bing Crosby.
