Is the hammer from and original Model 1873 the same as one used in a Model 1876?  Thanks!

Hi, Whitney!  Welcome to the fire.  As noted by Joe, the 1873 hammer is not the same as the 1876.  However, if you are looking for a replacement hammer for an original, the Chaparral parts are supposed to interchange.  Another good  place that I have found for original parts is e-bay.
