Those of you that are using it, where did you find your Rapine 512-350-T mould?

And absolutely worth it.  This is the best 56-50 mould I have used.  Casts great bullets, and the bullets carry plenty of lube...something you can't always say of the other 56-50 designs out there.

The "Jim 512-350" bullet from Buffalo Arms is an excellent bullet.  I have tried several bullet styles, and they are the smoothest feeding of any, and carry plenty of lube.  I have gotten very good accuracy from the Armi Sport carbine with them.  You can get some precast and lubed from Buffalo Arms.  I would recommend anyone giving them a try before purchasing a mould.

the jim513350 is very simular to the rapine 350T bullet so it will work very well through spencers and keep pouder fouling soft ,i also lick the look of there jim513375 bullet ,it should cary enough lube for the carbine,if same desine had a big lube groov i think it would be near perfect bullet for original spencers and would give beter acuracy AS carbines,i think you should order a few of each jim513350 &jim513375 bullet and try before buying a mould ,good luck

For the meantime, I ordered a Lee 515-500-F mould (and shell holder, brass, & Lyman dies) from Midway and turned it down as per Hell-er High Water's posts. The calipers say the cavity is now .720" deep and Hell-er High Water says his is ~.725", so I'm in the ball park. Turned out a top punch and .515" lubrisizer die while I was at it too. The rifle shipped yesterday, so I'll be ready with some test rounds when it gets here.

Jbar, a great point about the DW style bullet is that it barely seats in the case and you CAN drop tube a true weighed 45 grs. FFg and seat the bullet, albeit with light compression. OH BOY, do those 350 gr. bullets ZIP out of the barrel with that load pushing 1200 fps

I found out the Lyman shell holder is just a tad too large to fit in a Lee priming tool too. I ordered two of them and cut the foot off one to use in the priming tool, but then had to grind a few thousandths off the perimeter so it would slide in. I already had the shell opening itself relieved for... .45-75's, I think.
