The Marlin and Winchester barrels and actions have different threads.  So you can't just twist the pipe to the action.  That said, I have seen a Marlin .38-55 barrel fitted to a 1894 Winchester action.  The roll stampings were a bit closer to the action than they should have been.  So I would imagine one could turn and thread a new shank on the Marlin barrel to fit the Winchester action.  Consult your gunsmith and see how much length you would lose, and if the result would comply with local ordinance.  I mean a barrel is a barrel.  I know a guy who had an Enfield Martini with a Ruger #1 barrel in .45-70.  I think it threaded right on, but don't hold he to that.

Good luck with the Marchester project.   :D

Thank's  :)  I will deliver your answer 8)

It's better he get one original Win barrel from Buckinham arms.
But do Buckinham have a website?
