bar grounder ??????????

ok WC here my question ive got a bar grounder and ive tried bout evvery way i know ho but cant seem to gett an even pattern from what ive seen on projects that have used it i can tell itt used in the same manner as a regular backgrounder i was wondering if you could shed a little light on the subject for me and oohers that are struggling with this tool that looks so simple to use and it probabllys when used right LOL

I do not like bar grounders when they are used like the Sheridan carvers use them. Look at some Sheridan carvings on the net and you willl see how they are used in a pattern in the background. I'll try to fine some pix of how I use them.

I used to be one,a bouncer ;D Of course i was young and healthy and workin out then.Sent a few old hides home alone.. :'( Never had to carve any up though.. :D

Bar Grounders are background tools that are long and narrow with a seed type pattern. Most of the Sheridan carvers use them.

My bar grounders are still unused. I just don't have any fondness for them. If I want patterns in the background, I have other stamps that work well. I suppose I'll find a use for them one of these days.
