Well Just a quick note to those that are interested.

The 1858 Remington's(one Pietta one Uberti)Ran the whole Winter Range match with out a hiccup!! Every time I pulled the trigger I got a satisfying BOOM and smoke.

Had a miss with my 73 in 45 Colt .(tried to shoot thru the smoke at where the target should be)

So It seems like the Reme's will do just fine. I might find a pair in 5 1/2 barrel length though.

It really wasn't a miss--I swear I saw that target move just as the boolit went by.

I do know he kicked my behind- time wise. Out of the 11 WR's- this one was the most fun. Shooting the C&B was a hoot. Surprised I made the top 10. Posse 26 was by far the best bunch of pards to shoot with, and every one helped run the stages. Will do it again next yr. (If I am asked to marshal again)

Ever notice that even after the smoke blows away, the smile remains. I'm grinnin' at yer success.

My second match of the season comes up weekend after this one. I'm shootn' GF as usual. New sight on my Browning 92 and plenty of ammo this time.
