Hello to all here, I've been mostly lurking for a while, about time to introduce myself. I've been shooting CAS for about 8-9 years, and looking to get into something a little different. Shooting mostly BP for about 5 years or so, but I've got a Krag and a trapdoor that are tired of sitting around in the safe. I would really like to try to make the muster in Nebraska, but it depends on both money and some family things whether it will be possible.

Thanks for introducing yourself PE. We'd sure love to have you attend the Muster and your firearms would thank you. I hear they're tired of collecting dust.  ;) Where you from? There are a few folks that are trying to find people to car pool with.

I'm in Missouri, about 40-50 miles from Drydock's location.

Drydock

Now I remember!  Pony!  Good to hear from ya.  You bring that dusty iron out to COWs next weekend, Y'hear!  If you need ammo let me know, I've got plenty.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

I may bring out the Krag, but probably will shoot regular cowboy, at least this month. I been working on some loads for it, probably 8gr of unique, and 2-3 different bullets I can choose from. I know you have a trailboss load for yours, but I don't have any, and niether does my dealer.....but plenty of unique. But I want to get some of the other gear first, like a cartrige belt and at least some parts of a uniform. I guess I could put 30-40 shells in my 20ga belt two per loop ::)

For the trapdoor, I'll have to get a mould for a lighter bullet, and put a higher front sight, since it only shoots close to POA with 500 grainers.

Drydock

If you've just got a few rounds, might be fun to try the Krag on the speed stage, I'm bringing the my Krag just for that, Fritz and I will shoot the rest of the match with Trapdoors this month.
