I have two Open Top 1871-2 Uberti revolvers with cracked barrels.
Cracked in the lower part of the forcing cone where they are thinnest.
I may try a weld from the bottom and see if I can get penetratio up into the crack.....if the forcing cones are still round.

I need replacement barrels for the guns. The long barrels is wahat I want but I'll take any length if I can find them.
Anyone know places to check for new or used Open Top Barrels?

You can try VTI or any of the importers (Cimmarron, Taylor's) that sell the guns to see if they have any spare parts.

VTI is great.  However, they have no control over when the Italians run off and ship a batch of parts.  If they have them in stock, you'll get them real quick.  If they are not in stock it could be weeks, months, or even years.
