TWO new SRC from Uberti!

Just returned from End of Trail where I had an opportunity to see,  caress, and slobber over two new 1876 SRCs at the Cimarron Firearms booth! 

They had their new NWMP carbine in 45-75.  Very nicely finished and correctly marked.  I noted that they are mounting a sporting leaf (ladder type) carbine sight rather than the Spanish Meter found on the original. 

Maybe the most exciting, at least to me, was the new Crossfire Trail carbine.    The example was in 45-60 and featured a case hardened receiver!  Really nice looking carbine! 

Both carbines were smooth and snappy in terms of function.  Balance is as near perfect as one could want!  I feel a gun buy coming on!

Excellent! I liked the CFT gun from the movie, and even had my two rifles engraved on the sideplates very similar to what that had. Looks like I may be adding another to my rifle rack too Are they shown on the website - did you notice?

Nope, I had not been there in a spell!    Wish they would post more pics showing some of the details.....

If you look on the Cimarron web site under "New For 2009" you will find them there.  Third item down from the top on their menu on the left side of their home page.

They are listed as 1876 Carbine.  A couple of photos, details and pricing are available.  Delivery is ??  Check with them on that.
