Does anyone definitively know the Chaparral 50-95 '76 rate of twist? NOT the Uberti, which I know is 1 in 48", but the Chaparral.

Hell-Er High Water

Chaparral states on their web site that for the 50-95 rifles that "Rifles have a barrel twist rate of approximately 1 turn in 60", so it is unlikely that bullets heavier than 350 grains will stabilise".  (Their spelling of stabilize, not mine).

60" is  152.40 cm, so the twist is probably between 150 & 155 cm (59.06" - 61.02")

That's as close as I can come for you.

Thanks, buddy.  ;)  You know I looked on their website but must have missed it.  :-[
