I was sorry to hear about the loss of your little shadow...I have three Doxies...so I know what your going through....if you ever get thr urge to get another Doxie there are alot of rescue services out there for Doxies that need a good home.  My third dog came from Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue and she is a sweetheart for sure.  c2cdr.org is the web site.

Yep your right Outrider,Doxies rule.We have another we call booger dog,she is a double dapple doxie.Thanks for the info,may check into it later.

Hey Curley,you nailed it,off that little road that goes up to the panoramic view.Have you seen that John Muir lodge they have there now?They redid the whole info center too,took down all the old logging pics and antique saws and such.Replaced with the bronze statue stuff and hands on interactive story boards.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Had to put my kitty [18] down in Dec. and it is real hard.  Glad that you have such a nice place to get calm in.  Hope the wedding goes just like the bride wants it too.  Enjoy it lots!!

 Thank you Dr.Bob my heart goes out for you also.It is hard to do but no more suffering.It tears ya up when ya have to do it becuase they trust you so much and you have to be the one.
