That looks right-smart pard! Like the fringed look there! And the colors look good too! Way to go!
Just because you CAN ride the hide off a horse, doesn't mean you should.

Ok, this is 316's lil' woman.

Somebody tell him he needs to slow down.  He is wearing me out keeping up with all his leather work.  I am also going to throw him out into the garage if I can get away with it.  Costing me a fortune in Excedrine from all the pounding.  LOL.

Just kidding...... honestly, I can't thank you enough for all the wonderful support you all give him.  BIG HUGS to all of you.

Welcome to the forum Mrs. C316,

Good to have you join us, I know what you mean about 316, heeee's on FIRE with his leather work, and he's putting out some beautiful pieces for sure, It's WONDERFUL that you support him with this, maybe he can get you involved in leather crafting too, we'd love to have you join in with us.

                                         Best Regards

Beautiful holster Cowboy, tell the wife I said that at least she doesn't have to wonder where you are. She can hear you all the time. ;) ;D

Seriously, Mrs. Cowboy he's starting to make the rest of us look bad could you maybe slow him down to one or two new pieces a month ;D ;D ::)
Lost..... I ain't never been lost...... fearsome confused fer a month er two once... but I never been lost.

Guys, honestly.  There is no way to slow him down. He is usually finishing 1 piece a day if not more.  He is nearly finished with another one tonight.  ::)

I won't be joining you in the leather work. One person hammering leather on a piece of marble or hanging out at the leather shop in this house is enough. Besides that, my quilting would suffer.

He can always find me, he just follows the sound of my sewing machine or knows that I am at the local quilt store.  We won't tell him that my quilting costs 10x more than his leather work.

If we could both just get into full time dealing of our crafts, we might be able to forsee a vacation in our future.   ;D

Hey there Mrs Cowboy 316, nice to hear from you. Your man sure is doing a fine job making holster after holster. His carving skills are really good. My wife quilts too, and is all around much more creative than I am. Take good care of him! God bless, JD

Howdy Mrs. Cowboy 316,
It is great to see that your are supportive of your husband's Leather Working. He has become a true artist in Leather. His Wyoming Holster is another example of his talent and versatility. I'm just about completely retired and my wife would go nuts if I did not have this wonderful hobby to pursue.

You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself
