Funny how the memory works. This picture is from my cell phone, not the greatest. It is 8 inches. I don't know what I was thinking about the S curve in the guard, or it not being shiny.

I thought I caught the brand, but looking at their website and prices, I must be wrong.

Thanks a lot Rick. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have Ned Bukshot put something together for me, using one of the elk antlers I've got. He was the first one to talk to me about making one, & sent me some pictures of his work. Lots of guys have commented poistively on his knife making abilities.

I kinda like the sound of saying "I had this knife made for me by Ned Buckshot" Has a certain ring to it!

Oh yea No doubt,that was just for idea on stag handles and guard shapes like you mentioned.If i had the money all the time i would keep Ned bussier than a beaver with no tail and upper denture plates and i've seen "em"stuck in trees too,or it was my dad,but perty sure it was a tailless beaver
