Looking forward to the Muster though! .....

Does this mean you are actually going to make it this year, General?  Would be good to see you again!

I am obliged ( ;) ) to attend, to return the GAF Division Challenge plaque .....

Which reminds me, as I look up at it in my den ..... wasn't a plate to be engraved and send it to me for mounting on it?  Col. Pitspitr?  (Also, did you ever get my e-mail (or was it a PM) about scenarios based on incidents resulting in Victoria Cross awards?)

Hmmm, where to start.
I just got a new position at work, where I went from having freedom outside to a desk job. The previoius tenant of this desk retired April 1 after 40 years. So, lots to learn there.

My wife and I decided to start our own little GAF Division at home, and are having our first little one July 4 (or thereabouts), so I have been working on the house, etc.

We have our state match coming up, so have been trying to promote that like crazy. That will be over soon, and then it will be onto the State Blackpowder Shoot, which is the weekend before the  Muster.

My leather work is doing well enough I am always about 3 orders behind, so that eats the TV time.

My sister in law is living with us, while her hubby is doing his Basic Training and OCS. He graduates from OCS, and heads to Ft Leo Wood next week or so. Chemical Warfare is his MOS I guess. From what I understand, he will be there for awhile, so maybe you will run into him, Major Lewis?! His last name will be Peeler, but I dont know his rank yet. I imagine lots of KP duty with a name like that, but.......

No complaints about any of it, and my sis in law is a peach, but it sure makes the time go by.

Yes, I intend to be there.  Fortunately, there does not appear to be any work-related conflicts this year (unless the new SECNAV decides otherwise).   I was all set for last year's Muster until I got orders to the sandbox.

Sould we all E-Mail him and ask him to make sure you can go or would that get you in hot water?    ::)

I did get the e-mail and it was one of the ones I had planned on replying to last weekend. Unfortunately I may have run into a snag with the barracks accomidations and have been trying to get the details so I can let everybody know. So far I haven't been able to get any answers to my questions. I will let everyone know ASAP if there is indeed a problem.

Just checking in and letting everyone know that things are well here in Michigan. I too have recently graduated from college albeit later than I would have liked, I'm 40 years old LOL.  However, I graduated April 26th, 2009 with Honors Phi Theta Kappa at Kalamazoo Valley Community College >>YESSS! <<<
