Don't know where to put this so I stuck it in here in hopes that it will end up in the right spot.

Where can I buy the old red Lifebuoy carbolic soap soap without spending a fortune?

I find it for as little as $1.59 a bar, but it's 3 bars minimum and $6.99 S&H.

I find it for $11.85 for three bars and $5.99 S&H.

I can buy a year's supply of Zest for that.

???????????

Anybody know of a better deal?

Thanks.

Found some behind my ears once, but my mom put it there.

Ya think barber supply place would have it? Here's a quiz, what did the red stripes on a barber pole indicate?
Bunch a ole scudders!

Forty Rod

Blood.  barbers used to be "surgeons" and bled people. The blue stripes were added alter for patriotism.

I've looked everywhere I could think of.  It's not made in N. America or Europe any more and I guess the import duty on it is outrageous.

Probably should be in the Black powder section. It'll start a debate on the best soap to clean your hands with after shooting BP.

Best soap for cleaning anything...hands, guns, other equipment...after BP shooting is Lemon Fresh Joy liquid dishwasher detergent.  It works quickly, rinses clean, smells good, and leaves my hands as soft as a butterfly's butt.  ::)

Besides, it's what my wife has under the sink.
