Hello
Want to make up some dummy rounds for my just about to arrive Armi-Sport Spencer.  Where can I find the cartridge Over All Lenght, and other pertinent specifications, for loading this cart. It's a 56-50 Taylors. I have Starline Brass,  and Buffalo Arms 350 grain .512 dia bullets. The bullets have 3 grease grooves, so I take it, that the top groove, is the crimp groove. Also What is a good charge of black powder,  to start with, for this gun,??. I'm going to try 3F.

I got the gun off Gun broker, along with 260 new shells, 400 bullets, a set  (3) of lyman Dies, and a 50-70 belling die. the loading components  came today, but the gun won't arrive at my FFl till Monday. I also have to round up a set of insructions for the dies, unless  they are packed with the gun.  Thanks

Rebel Dave,

Please check out the Spencer Often Requested Information (ORI) for answers to your loading questions.  There is plenty of information there regarding the Armi Sport Spencer.  Here is the link:   http://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php?topic=14075.0
