Last time I ordered some Ruger parts I also spoke to customer service for a quite a spell.
We parleyed about discontinued six-guns, Blackhawk conversions, birdsheads & Bisleys.
They said that they are always lookin' for customer input.
CAS folks are a fair-share of their biz.
So don't be afraid to write 'em a letter with your concerns & wants.

I wrote 'em a letter back in '79 wit' a picture of a (home gunsmithed) .920" bull-barreled 10/22.
I inquired about Ruger buildin' somethin' like it.  Reckoned it might be a good seller.

I would prefer to see it in both.  ;D But, .44-40 if not both. If both then ya could get a gun with both cylinders. And, shoot .44-40, .44 S&W American, .44 S&W Russian, and .44 S&W Special in it.  ;D

I like the way Silver Creek thinks.

Sure wish they would make convertible Vaqs like the Blackhawks.

357 Vaq shoots 38spl  but a convert 357 Blackhawk handles that and an extra for 9mm para.

Something for Ruger to ponder - (forgot for the 45LC and convert Blackhawk with the same for the Vaq and you have realatively inexpensive 45 ACP to practice with)

When I bought my pair of Vaquero's I got the both the .45LC and the  .45 ACP cylinders  with  them,  It is nice to be able  to shoot the ACP,  I already had  a bunch of those for my Automatics.
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else
