For the sake of being able to ad an acronym with number in your signature, i.e. "1860 Henry Rifle Roster # 000".

I personally like the number system simply to see how many we have. If nothing else give the number of the last person to join.

I thought there was a numbering system of sorts when the forum was originally started, however I never got one.

Since we have two new moderators, now, and because the "Yes" votes are ahead, I am gonna put up the new numbered list. If there is a last minute surge in the "No" votes, I will put the unnumbered list back up.

Perhaps the new moderators could start some subjects based on interest and experience, new parts that uberti has changed, suggestions of what not to do, timing short strokes, etc..
