Pitspitr the moccasins that you are wearing when you portray Buffalo hunter and scout, "Little Buckshot" Conrad Wentworth, where did you get them? Im workin on my scout impression also and really like the looks of them. Whats the historical accuracy with them? Did you make them or buy them? thanks for the help, keep up the great work

Sorry for the tardy reply. I was out of town for a couple of days.

I made them. They're somewhat historically accurate. Not museum quality, but not horrible either. There several things I'd do differently (better) if I were making them today. They are the nomadic plains style and beaded in a Cheyenne design. I had 2 books that I got information from. 1 was Indian Crafts and Lore by W. Ben Hunt. The other was a lot better book devoted exclusively to making high quality moccasins in the various styles used in North America. It's been long enough ago that I can't recall the title or author.
