Who has some very low serial numbered USFA or USPFA guns?  Just wondering.

Frank Dalton

How low are you looking for?
I've got a Rodeo that's #965, which came with case colored hammer.  That's low compared to my SAA's in the 28,000 range.

My Rodeos are all in the 200's, and lowest Premium is 231XX.  I know there are people with much lower than me.

Regarding the Rodeos, The first group went from A100 - A999.  The second batch started with B, etc.  As I remember there were no C's or F's.  Rodeos with a G's are all 5 1/2", H's are 7 1'2", and K's are 4 3/4".  A new run of 5 1/2" Rodeos has been started with the S prefix.   Both Rodeo and Rodeo IIs are mixed in the serial # ranges.  For example, K687 could be a Rodeo and K688 a Rodeo II.  My memory is fading but I think Es were all 4 3/4" too.

My nickel BP framed, V groove site, what I would consider a Pre War because of the configuration not the finish, the serial number is 208XX.

On my SAA it is 223XX.

Howdy, I just got a pair of preowned/unfired Rodeos #K265, K266. Would this be considered early and is there a way to find date of manufacture ? Thanks, Red    After rereading banjomans post maybe these are'nt to old.

I have these two low USFA serial number revolvers:

          1851 Navy - Serial Number 305

1851 Navy Richards Conversion - Serial Number 2043

Both are in pristine New In Box condition.  :)

I'm looking for a USFA 1860 Army to add to the collection.  Anyone out there have one for sale???  ;D

Aren't those Navies something.  I have #320 and #346.  I have yet to run into any other blackpowder model, but I am always searching.

I have found an Engraved 1860 Army Richards Conversion with serial #105.
