Euroarms Gunslinger

Just showing off the Euroarms Gunslinger I just refinished. I bought this from Halfway Creek Charlie Several Years ago. It has a      4 3/4" Barrel, a Kirst 44 Colt Konversion Cylinder and Faux Ivory Grips from Tombstone Grips.  I removed the blue and polished the metal, defarbed it except for the Serial # and Caliber.  Fun to shoot  and puts out great amounts of smoke an flame with blackpowder cartridges.







Great Shooter and lots of fun.

Thats a good looking shooter you got there, a short barrel on the 1858 really does look good in my opinion, seems to look better balanced.

Nice .   Which cylinder fit the Euroarms ? . . Uberti ? Pietta ? . . . and how much fitting did it require ?  Curioius.

Damn, he beat me to it!!
Here's mine for your perusal, only the British Nitro conversion cylinders that we are allowed, not cartridge.
Chopped down to 5", still trying to decide whether to replace the sight and rammer assembly, as the cylinders are loaded 'off pistol'.
The cylinders have a restriction to allow only 3.5gr Bullseye, and have a ball at the business end, and a shotgun primer at the other.

Angel Eyes . . . thems is NICE.   Glad you could take advanage of my handywork with the peice of wire.  I've got an idea for reworking the rammer arm to make a cylinder pin retainer that has the web under the barrel for "looks" . . . but I've been too busy rebuilding my original '73 Winchester to get working on it.

Are your pistols .36 caliber ?

Hi Wolfie, the pistols are .44cal, which with the 143grain ball and 3.5gr Bullseye should almost duplicate the load I used to use for my target load when I had my S&W 586, and that was extremely effective.
Having said that, I have not yet tried them in competition, but the pointability feels great!

That looks to be a very nice renovation job you are doing on that '73, I've got a guy at my club trying to sell an original '73 in .44-40, which he had as a collectors piece, but didn't shoot very often.
Any idea's on what it may be worth? Mechanically it appears sound but with no bluing left.

The cylinder for the Gunslinger is a Special Order Kirst Colt .44 Caliber for a Uberti 58.

As far as installation, I got lucky, it dropped right in.

Timing was perfect and no adjustments were necessary.

Warbucks . . . thanks for the reply.  I just bought a Euroarms ( not arrived yet ) and just wondered if my Pietta conversion would fit.  Nope.  I like the little AMS "Sheriff's model".  No chance to shoot it.  Should make GREAT FLAMES at night . . .
