I have a pair of Olathe Boots that are a light brown color called "Mule", I would like to have them dyed to a dark reddish brown called Mahogany to match or come close to the color of my gunleather. Is this something that can be done?

Howdy
You bet it can. Just get a bottle of dye. Clean the boots real good with saddle soap, let dry. Dye them and then I would put a light coat of Pure Neetsfoot oil on. Let dry real good the polish with color or neutral.

Thanks for the reply, I was planning on takeing them to a shoe repair shop and have them done, so the color will be even and both boots the same shade. I don't trust myself to do it, probably look like I had mahogany colored gloves on too.

I always wear mechanics type latex goloves when I dye.
