Ejector tabs on Conversions and OT's

On originials,,originals mind you,,was the ejector rod 'tab' the same on both OT's and conversions ?

Some of the type one Richards conversions had the bulls eye ejector heads a lot like on the black powder frame 1873 Colt. The ejector heads on the Ubertis are pretty close to what would have been used on the later conversions (R/M, open tops etc,)

This one is not mine and I can't find the photo of the other side which shows it better but it is definitely a Bullseye Ejector Head as Mr. Ottawa Creek Bill says.

McDowell's book has tons of info on the types of ejectors used on almost all the conversion types...If you can get a copy for a reasonable price...that is the best source. I have Adler's book too, but it does not even compare to McDowell's in the amount of information especially if you want to do your own conversions.
