I am thinking about buying a Puma 1892 and know some smiths take the safety off the top. I was wondering if any of you pards had any pics of this post operation?  ;D

I hate that darn safety and want to see what it looks like with it removed.

Thanks in advance if any of you have pics.

Go to stevesgunz.com and he has some up close pics in color of his work. He can just put a plug or fill and grind down the surface with the stainless being the easiest as you don't re-blue. If you are able to do the work yourself he also sells a DVD that shows you how to break down and modify the gun. IMHO it's a must own if you have a 92. Steve also sells parts such as the metal magazine tube follower which replaces the factory plastic. I have a Navy 92 and another on order with Steve. One fine little gun. Later David

I just modified the the safety to make it a "loose" plug. I was gonna make a flush plug later on, but I have never gotten around to it. I don't even notice anymore.

I just bought a new Rossi 92 in .357 mag and I don't have any safety on it.  Did they stop making them with the safety?

I just personally dont like them. I guess I like mine to look as close to authentic as possible.

Hi,

I am planning to go for a holiday and someone suggest me the name of Puma. Can someone please provide me some details about it's tourist place. So that I can plan it out.

Now we have done it!!

Showed the last 4 posts to "her indoors", and even she laughed!!

Then she asked where Puma was, I didn't have the heart to tell her, just claimed I didn't know, (chicken, I know).
