I have been wanting one of these for a long time. A few days ago I talked to one of the ladys at Taylors and she told me that they would need an order for 5 of them before the manufacturer would consider making them. Is this a put-off or is this the truth? I have been wanting an Open-Top in 44-40 for longer than I can remember, and thats a long time..............anyone for an Open-Top in 44-40?........................

Fox Creek Kid

You can't as the case heads are too large & would overlap.

I would love it if my Open Tops were in 44-40 instead of 45 Schofield. So was it going to cost much to get them to custom make some 44-40 versions?

This is why they don't make them, you only got one interested reply(me) . Then even you lost interest.
