As I was surfing last night, I ran acrossed a gun that is called a Cimmaron Plinkerton, it is suposse to fell like the 1873, and it shoots 22's, as you all know reloading supplies and ammo, are going cazy! I was wanting to find someone that had one of these and ask how they shot? Thought if they shot okay, i would try and sell some more stuff and get one. If A person is going to play, it looks like the 22 is the only gun to shoot!
I would be great full if anyone can tell me anything about them!
thanks

Ace,
Here, for what it is worth, is a link to a review of the Plinkerton from Gunblast.com.

I bought a pair last summer. Went to buy a .22 auto pistol, but got the pair of Plinkertons for about the same price. They are not a pretty gun. Mine shoot point of aim and handle very good. The are the same size and close to the same weight as my colt clone .45. They are great for practice  because you can shoot a lot for little money and use the same leather for .22 and .45.
I agree with the Gunblast article. Not pretty but function well. ;D :)
