What is the firearm policy at the Convention??  allowed, not allowed, don't leave in room hotel staff will remove? ::)

Just want to know if it is safe to bring or should just leave all at home.

Many of us had more revolvers that we were wearing at one time and they were OK in the rooms!

I should add that not only did the hotel people enjoy having all the cowboys wandering about with guns, if you come Thursday and attend our dinner at the Golden Ox resturant, they really enjoy us, even other patrons will come over and talk to us.

The Convention at KC is GREAT .We had a great time last year .And being able to go Heeled was part of the package .
Will there be dancing again this year , I'm afraid if I don't find a lady to dance with I will forced to dance with Jeff Farmer .
And Jeff I'm not a cheap date .

Trap

Yes there is a Ball at the banquet. Just be sure that it's Jeff that wears the yellow apron.    jt

I just wish I was driving in from Iowa instead of flying in from North Carolina. Lyle is carrying a couple of boxes for me, but no guns. I am adding a carry on baggage for my trip to NC. With my flight arriving in KC at 5:00PM Friday, I will be traveling dressed in period attire. The two boxes are for a couple of changes in clothing, & display for the table for the Phoenix Irregular Guard.

The plus side, my hotel & meals are expensed, the minus side the $350 for plane tickets & rental car are not.
