I've had some bottles of Fiebings dyes for years. As long as the dye doesn't dry out, it seems to work fine. I had some antique paste that dried out and wouldn't work. It was like very hard shoe polish so I tossed it.

The dye may loose some of the alcohol and be a darker color, add some thinner and it should be fine. The paste can get hard from sitting too long.
I've been able to stir some of them and they worked fine.

I have had some of my liquid dyes, (cant remember what specific one, but it was Fiebings) that seemed to have granules in it. I dont know why, but it left spots on the leather wherever a granule was. That one got tossed in a hurry.
They say not to let the dye freeze, but I am not sure what happens to it if it does.
