Today I was reloading and I have Jamison brass and some Ten X ( Bertram ) . The Jamison brass holds more powder than the Ten X this could be dangerous if you was loading smokeless and didn't realize it . Has anyone else noticed the difference ????

I wouldn't worry about the difference in case capacity being dangerous when loading smokeless unless you were pushing it to the limit. I would not want to mix my cases if I want my grouping to be consistent.  When I load 45-60s I weigh each charge (4759) and use a filler(puffed rice, counting the pieces) so there is no chance of double charging and the filler eliminates concerns about too much free space left in the case.

Will have cases for black powder and for smokeless . I just thought it might be good info for the new people coming aboard .
Thanks for your input .
