Any of you guys have the new model flat top .357. I seen one in my favorite gun shop and liked the looks of it. I didn't tempt myself by handling it because that always gets me in trouble. I see that it has the smaller frame and old grip also. How does it ballance and shoot. I just sold some toys so I have some cash now. My wife still doesn't understand why a man needs so many guns.

If I had the extra money, I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

I have one and its been tuned and refinished by Hamilton Bowen. He sent the frame, hammer, and loading gate to Doug Turnbull for his expert color case hardning. It's an awesome gun. It's my favorite gun, it's a magic gun. Point, shoot and hit that easy. I think its the best all around single action out there for a new gun.

I have the Downrange TV giveaway gun from last summer. It is a Flattop .357. Nice gun, but I wish it was a .44 or .45. Still a nice one. I did put a spring kit in a few months ago, and other than that, its still stock.
It is my bed gun, and my hunting sidearm (not deer, the 45s still do that).
