Hi Pards! Just wanted to say hello and let everybody know I didn't go to the happy hunting ground yet! But keep me in your thoughts! I had a small stroke about 5 weeks ago which is why I wasn't on here and it left the last 2 fingers on my left hand numb with no strength much in that hand. Hard to hold tools sometimes but I'm working on it. I knew I shouldn't have gone bear hunting that morning!

Hey Kid, real sorry to hear about that, but glad to hear you are on the mend. I will ask my prayer team (I'm a pastor) to pray for you. They are a strong bunch, and will go to it with a vengence.

Well, glad to see you back with us, Kid. Darn rough stuff, those strokes. Even small ones. Good to hear it wasn't worse than it was. Better still to hear you're on the mend. Welcome back.

Kid No stroke is good ,I understand had a CVA in 2000.For myself,it affected my vision.Took me sometime to work around the problems,had some good pards that helped along the way. When I was told it will affect your short term memory,I didnt belive it ,when I got back to shootin in 05, I found out it did. This past October I shot my first clean match,had a bunch of batchlor matches ,no misses but a P. I finally relized ,it did affect short term memory,at least mine.Took some time to work thru things,but keep the faith and God Bless !!! Adios Sgt.Jake

Sorry it took so long to get back!

No, I didn't get a bear, but my son did! After we got home and got him skinned and hung, thats when I started feelin' kinda bad! Took me to the horsepital next day! Doin' much better now but I'm slow at writin' and workin'!
