Wife Has Been Working With Suede

She made me this pouch for my C&B bullets and the little moccasins for our grandson.  She would like to continue on to a pair of rifle scabbords for our Marlins.  Were looking for a good source (affordable) for durable suede that can be hand sewn with a punch--no machines.

I have had good luck with Moscow Fur and Hide (not sure what the website is, but googling will get you there).   They have a variety of deer, elk, beef, etc.   Also, I would look in your yellow pages, we have a Tandy's here in town, but there is also a Shoe supply store that also provides for the appolsterers in the area, they have cheap stuff time to time.

Thanks Rilla, she just spent about 1/2 hour looking through the Moscow site and bookmarked a few pages.  Definately a good lead if she can't find a resonable local source.
