Howdy......
I came across a S&W 686 (DA) yesterday that I would like to make an offer on.'Burshed' SS finish, 4 1/2" barrel (maybe 4"??) .357, Wood grips, the action feels real smooth and the trigger pull feels good to me. Not a scratch on it (that I remember) It was bought new in 1984.  I can shoot it befor I buy.
What do you think it might be worth??

Good shootin......

Can't beat a Smith for a (double action) wheel gun!  It's a 4 inch barrel and it's worth whatever the local market will bear, $350 - $400  It's a keeper!

Gunbroker shows them in the $400 range. If you can get it for $300 you got a deal.
All America lies at the end of the wilderness road, and our past is not a dead past, but still lives in us. Our forefathers had civilization inside themselves, the wild outside. We live in the civilization they created, but within us the wilderness still lingers. What they dreamed, we live, and what they lived, we dream. -- T.K. Whipple

Old Town Station has one for $435.  You don't want to take too much of an advantage of your boss.  It could come back and bite you! :o

It all depends on the area you're in, Around here you can't give a double action revolver away, That gun would go for $200 to 275 tops. Hope this helps
