I went to a gun show yesterday and struck up a conversation with one of the dealers who was a friend of a friend.
I was working on a trade for an original 1873 winchester when I happened to look in a show case and spotted an original 1875. It ws nickle plated  with a lot of the finish intact. All in all a pretty good looking gun.  It had a fairly low serial number seems like below 12000 but I could be mistaken.
It had a little problem with the timing  but wsa problably just due to wear. He was asking $2300 for it,which from what I have seen lately on some of the auction sites seemed pretty reasonable to me.
Any way , If some one is looking for one I have the guys card  , just drop me a pm and I'll give you his phone  number.
I I also ran across an original 1858 , It had been converted at some time in the past . The loading port had been opened and there was a notch in the loading lever for and ejector but the ejector rod was missing  and and old C and B cylinder was in it. . It was pretty rough but if some ones interested I can get the owners name also,
just thought someone might be interested.

I would be interested in talking with the gent that has the "1858".
