First of the Year - A Triple Play

A 7" refurbished circa 1950's German hunter turned into an 1850's Frontier Bowie - with stag grip, copper ferrule, and brass guard - sheath is braintan over a vegtan core with beadwork and more....

A gussied up Mexican Loop with a vegtan core, rawhide cover and beaded loops.............the knife is a Buck custom shop Bowie.......

The head for this pipeaxe was hand-forged by Stuart Willis - www.swillisforge.com -
I've worked with some fine smiths over the years and I can unequivocably say that if you are looking for a tomawhawk/pipehawk Stuart does a FANTASTIC! job ..........
The rest is by me - an eastern axe goes west: a super fine curly maple handle, with brass fittings, a rawhide grip, antler end plug and mouthpiece, a bit of beadwork, and a horse tail hair "drop".......

I was never very excited about Native America Art! Untill I started seeking your stuff. It has opened up my mind so much, between you, WC, MW, TW, HP, WG, DC,outrider, and so many many more that I didn't mention your names, that does the most elegant carving's there are, and then you turn me one to your style. And I ask myself, why did this all happen know, when I am broke down, and can't focus on the art aspect of this great craft!

ditto, that looks amazing. The elements of nature are all lined up on those pieces. I love the color of them too. I can't wait to learn beadwork myself. There's a Navajo here that I'm honored to call my friend and he said he'd love to show me how they work leather and bead. I'm really excited about that.

Beautiful knives and Sheaths. If your looking for someone to do leather work Chuck is the man. I do believe he could take a rusty old horseshoe. Bump the dung off it ,wrap it in leather and it would look like a work of art that anybody would love to hang in their house.
