Someone just sent me a beautiful montage of photos from the New Orleans snow, complete with audio track (Louie Armstrong singing "Christmas in New Orleans").  I just can't figure out how to upload it here... (Photobucket won't accept it; apparently its copyright-protected.)

My grandson 3 years old had a blast makeing footprints in the snow and eating the white stuff from "Nana's" bowel that we had set out in the yard!

Dr. Bob

Boy Howdy Fairshake,

When I was in New Orleans for the reenactment of the Battle Of New Orleans, Jan. 8, 9 & 10 it was in the low to mid 70's all 3 days!  A real treat for this guy from Missouri.  Was 8 F when I got home on the 13th. :(  Was up to 48 today which seemed like summer!  :o  ;D  Melted most of the snow that showed up Friday A.M.  Glad that your kids had the chance to enjoy what I think is a royal pain in the neck.  ::)  ::)
