Howdy,

I am looking for the contact info on a man that sells a replacement for the crossbolt safety found on new Marlins. The replacement just looks like a blued screw, and does not extend wider than the receiver on either side. I purchased one several years ago, and need another one now, for the rifle I won as a doorprize at Winter Range.

Thanks . . .

I know that Longhunter sells them.

Adios,

Have two of them . Both from LongHunter... check out the solid firiing pin and butt warp while you're there on his site

Thanks for the replies. Before I bought them from somebody who actually made them himself. Longhunter had both the tool steel one piece firing pin I wanted and the safety replacement, so I ordered them both from his site. Much less hassel, actually-the other guy would only take money orders for payment. Plus, I don't mind supporting Longhunter a little.

Howdy Big Hext Finnigan & Trooper Steve,

I ordered my parts from Longhunter Supply (as you suggested) on the 24th. Today, the 28th, they're already here! Just what I was looking for, and great service too. Thanks for recommending I get them from him. I look forward to doing business with him again.

A referral is a precious thing.. but with Longhunter, not much risk at all.
Have fun, amigo.
