howdy Folks,
A question that has been debated a lot. For BPCR shooting, what is the opition of this group, do you want your forearm toching completely against the reciever or should you have a small gap. I have 66 Sharps and 74 Sharps, and getting ready to fit the forearm to my #1 Rolling block. On both my Sharps they toch in some places, but not all the way. When I was shooting Ruger #1's all those had a tight fit with the reciever and shot excellent.
But I would like the advice of the gunsmiths on here!
I would be very Great full!

I fit all forarms on two piece stocks to not have a noticable gap but to put no pressure on the reciever.  A good test is to shoot the rifle with and with out the forend.  If is shoots better with out it's putting pressure on the reciever and or the barrel.  The sides should fit evenly along the barrel, just like a bolt gun.  Easiest thing to do is just a full glass bedding of the forearm.
