Let's all take a moment those who fell at Pearl Harbor, Hickem Field, Schofield Barracks, and in other areas of the Hawaiian Islands on December 7th, 1941.

I had the priviledge of once again visiting the Arizona Memorial this last spring and meeting some of the survivors of that attack.  There are not many left.  About two months ago I had a nice chat with one of the last survivors of the USS Arizona - he was on a guard boat when the ship was attacked.  One of the things he mentioned is that he will have his ashes interred on the Arizona when he dies - rejoining his shipmates in the end.
